Last weekend’s Tour de Corse in France took Michelin’s score of fastest FIA World Rally Championship stage times past the 7,500 barrier.

In the course of the first half of the 12-round 2018/2019 ABB FIA Formula E Championship, the new Michelin Pilot Sport had to contend with an exceptional variety of conditions, from cold and rainstorms, to extremely hot weather and even sand. It rose to the occasion in style, however, and some of the new-generation racing tyre’s technological bricks have been incorporated into the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUV road tyre that was launched at March’s Geneva Show.

MotoGP™: Assertive win for Márquez (Repsol Honda Team/Michelin) in Argentina

Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team/Michelin) followed up his domination of free practice for the Gran Premio Motul de la República Argentina with an assertive win on race day. The Spaniard was joined on the podium of the 2019 MotoGPTM World Championship’s second round by Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP/Michelin) and Andrea Dovizioso (Mission Winnow Ducati/Michelin).

Neuville claims 10th WRC victory in Corsica

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai/Michelin) scored the 10th WRC victory of his career and his second in Corsica at world championship level after Elfyn Evans (Ford/Michelin) was cruelly toppled from the lead on the final stage. Second place ended up in the hands of Sébastien Ogier (Citroën/Michelin), ahead of the heartbroken Welshman.

Jean-Eric Vergne returns to winning ways

Defending champion Jean-Eric Vergne (DS Techeetah/Michelin) claimed his first win of the 2018/2019 ABB FIA Formula E Championship at Round 6 in Sanya, China. Oliver Rowland (Nissan e.dams/Michelin) and Antonio Felix da Costa (BMW I Andretti Motorsport/Michelin) were second and third.

Victory at Sebring for Toyota/Michelin

Round six of the 2018/2019 FIA World Endurance Championship at Sebring, Florida, USA, was won by the N°8 Toyota TS050 Hybrid/Michelin of Buemi/Nakajima/Alonso. The N°91 Porsche/Michelin of Lietz/Bruni came out on top after a thrilling battle in LM GTE Pro.

Ogier claims fifth Rally Mexico win

The 2019 Rally Mexico saw Sébastien Ogier (Citroën/Michelin) win the North American event for the fifth team to become the first driver to reach the score of 2,000 World Rally Championship points. Ott Tänak (Toyota/Michelin) and Elfyn Evans (Ford/Michelin) pocketed the silver and bronze medals, while Skoda/Michelin collected a one-two finish in WRC2.

MotoGPTM: Qatar glory for Andrea Dovizioso (Mission Winnow Ducati)

In a repeat to the start of last season’s campaign, Andrea Dovizioso (Mission Winnow Ducati) won the opening round of the 2019 MotoGPTM World Championship at Losail, Qatar. The night-time race kept fans enthralled from start to finish and the Italian’s margin at the flag was a mere 23-thousandths of a second over defending champion Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team). Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda) was third.

Mortara wins 50th Formula E race with Michelin

Formula E’s 50th e-prix since the championship’s creation in 2014 was won by Edoardo Mortara (Venturi Formula E Team/Michelin). Sam Bird (Envision Virgin Racing/Michelin) was first past the flag in Hong Kong but fell back to sixth after being handed a post-finish, five-second penalty. Second and third were Lucas di Grassi (Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler/Michelin) and Robin Frijns (Envision Virgin Racing).
