2017 MotoGPTM World Championship:

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team), 24, claimed the world title with Michelin for the second year running to notch up his sixth world class motorcycle racing crown, his fourth at MotoGPTM level. The silver and bronze medals went to Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) and Maverick Viñales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP).

In total, Michelin has scored 396 MotoGPTM race wins and 28 titles.

2017 Dakar:

MICHELIN clinched its 34th Dakar success on two wheels in January 2017 with Sam Sunderland (KTM-Michelin) who won the famous cross-country rally for the first time. He was joined on the all-KTM-Michelin podium by Matthias Walkner and Gérard Farres.


2017 Le Mans 24 Hours:

The N°2 Porsche 919 Hybrid of Timo Bernhard, Earl Bamber and Brendon Hartley was first past the chequered flag at the 85th running of the Le Mans 24 Hours to earn Michelin’s 20th straight victory in the French endurance racing classic.


2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC):

Porsche Team secured a third consecutive Manufacturers’ world title, while Timo Bernard, Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber were the WEC’s 2017 Drivers’ champions.

MICHELIN took the supreme prize for the sixth year in a row.


2017 FIA World Rally Championship (WRC):

MICHELIN harvested its 25th crown since the creation of the WRC Drivers’ championship in 1979 thanks to Ford Fiesta WRC pair Sébastien Ogier and Julian Ingrassia who topped the season’s leaderboard for the fifth year running.

M-Sport harvested MICHELIN’s 27th Manufacturers’ title since 1973.

MICHELIN’s score now stands at 52 FIA World Rally Championship titles (Manufacturers and Drivers combined).




Brazil’s Lucas di Grassi (Abt-Schaeffler Audi Sport) and Renault e.dams/Michelin respectively made sure of the 2016/2017 Formula E Championship’s Drivers’ and Teams’ titles at the season’s last two races in Montreal, Canada.



2017 FIM Supermoto World Championship:

MICHELIN topped the 2017 SuperMoto World Championship with Thomas Chareyre (TM).




2017 FIM Trial World Championship:

Toni Bou (MONTESA MICHELIN) reigned supreme yet again to pocket his 11th straight outdoor and indoor crowns.
