Porsche vs Toyota in 2017

In addition to releasing the entry list for the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), the ACO (Automobile Club de l’Ouest) has named the teams it has invited to take part in June’s Le Mans 24 Hours. Michelin is targeting its 20th straight win in the celebrated French race (June 17-18).

2016 Le Mans 24 Hours: Michelin’s 25th Le Mans victory in numbers…

The 2016 Le Mans 24 Hours saw Michelin win the famous French race for the 25th time in total and for the 19th time in a row since 1998. Michelin partners monopolised the podium in three classes after also qualifying on pole position and posting the fastest race laps in LM P1, LM GTE Pro and LM GTE Am.

Buenos Aires ePrix: Buemi’s hat-trick

Saturday’s Buenos Aires ePrix saw Sébastien Buemi (Renault e.dams) follow up his recent successes in Hong Kong and Marrakech with his third win on the trot, ahead of Jean-Eric Vergne (Techeetah) and Lucas di Grassi (Abt Schaeffler Audi Sport).

Sweden glory for Toyota/Michelin

Toyota followed up its Rallye Monte Carlo podium finish in January with outright victory in Sweden today to celebrate its return to the FIA World Rally Championship. Jari-Matti Latvala topped the final order ahead of Ford M-Sport/Michelin’s Ott Tanak and Sébastien Ogier, while Skoda/Michelin ended up on top again in WRC2.

A fourth Monte Carlo victory for Ogier on Michelin rubber!

Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia (Ford Fiesta RS WRC/Michelin) claimed Rallye Monte-Carlo glory for the fourth year running to notch up their 37th world class victory on Michelin tyres. Their success makes them the world championship’s most successful crew on the French firm’s rubber.

2017 Dakar Rally: Michelin’s 34th Dakar victory on two wheels

The first Dakar victory of British biker Sam Sunderland (KTM Factory Team-Michelin) notched up Michelin’s 34th success on the famous cross-country rally.
